Biography
Fred del Guidice’s primary vocation is husband to Ginny for over a quarter of a century and a father of nine children, five on earth and four in heaven. He graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in Painting. He has an M.F.A. in Painting from Syracuse University. He has also studied in New York City at the National Academy of Design and the Portrait Institute.
Mr. del Guidice has taught since 1986, at the Columbus College of Art and Design, Syracuse University, Cazenovia College, Seton Hill College, Westmoreland County Community College, Westmoreland Museum of American Art, Touchstone Center for Crafts, Wayne Center for the Arts, Tri- County Educational Service Center, University of Akron/Wayne College.
During the twenty-five + years of teaching he has offered courses in Drawing, Painting (Oil, Watercolor, Pastel, Acrylic), Mixed Media, Art History, Illustration, Printmaking, Portrait/ Figure Drawing and Painting courses to students of every age and skill level. Teaching is a passion which is executed with heat and light.
